About This Piece
These are both watercolour paintings of forests with northern lights in the sky. For the first painting I used a dry brush to create the illusion of snow on the ground and then used a wet brush to create a nice blend of colours in the sky. I used a fine liner to add the trees and bumps on the ground.
For the second painting I used a wet brush to create a blend of colours for the floor and then put foil on top to create those patterns. I used some gold acrylic for the trees and moon. Then I used some fine liner for the branches and birds.
