Artist Statement
Art is my way of telling a story, my way of explaining a certain mood. To me, my art is a way of expressing the emotions that I can’t put into words.
Biography
Hi, I’m Misia, a 14 year old girl who loves art and would appreciate your support on my journey. I started my art journey from a young age of around five and started following tutorials to make simple drawings at seven years old. A few years later at ten years old I started to understand and enjoy art more. This is when I started receiving better supplies such as my first proper watercolour set. As I look back to some of my very first drawings, I’m glad that I continued doing it and didn’t give up. About three years ago I started art club which I go to every week on Saturday. I feel like I’ve learnt a lot of new skills from this club and has inspired a lot of the artwork I do at home. The best thing is that I don’t just get to do art, I get to do it with some of my closest friends who do this with me! About two years ago I also found my love for watercolours which is my favourite medium. Over the years, I have invested in better watercolours and sketchbooks to suit my style. I have also included some of my digital art pieces here but I definitely prefer the classic pencil on paper style of art. The apps that I’ve used in the past for digital art are “procreate” and "clip studio paint” Thank you so much for supporting me xx
