Hummingbirds

These are watercolour paintings of hummingbirds. I used harmonious colours and complementary colours to make the birds pop and make them seem more vibrant. I used a watercolour technique where I first placed lots of colourful dots close to each other and then used a clean wet brush to make the dots blend together nicely. The background is just some splatters and faint blobs of colour to really focus on the birds instead.
